A few will be added too the list pretty soon too.

The Hub will not have any tenants on site by June (Port Authority started moving non-essential stuff a couple months ago). I expect this will go forward as quickly as practical.

YSL and 160 Front probably won't have much delay between demolition and excavation.

Could be excavation movement on Cumberland too but I have no clue on the details (all at once or phased? Which building is first?)

You know, Telus Sky is such a beautiful building in detail but looks so ugly from afar. At least, that's my opinion. It just doesn't fit until you get really close to it. Looks so out of place in a way. On the other hand, the Bow is beautiful but I don't like it on the Calgary skyline because it's so fat while Telus looks too skinny from so many angles. Maybe it's just the two of them working off each other to make each other look worse.

I would agree that profile-wise it's not my favourite, but for the most part the details are spot on and they show fantastically from the street which is exponentially more important in my mind.

Will be even better if that lighting comes to fruition.

But with projects like Sugar Warf, and 160 Front looking ready to go maybe they won't have a chance at the list.

1. the One (Toronto)
2. Stantec Tower (Edmonton)
3. CIBC Square I (Toronto)
4. Canada House I (Toronto)
5. Sugar Wharf Tower D (Toronto)
6. Eau du Soleil - Sky Tower (Toronto)
7. Telus Sky (Calgary): 222.3m / 729ft
8. Sugar Wharf Tower E (Toronto)
9. The Prestige at Pinnacle One Yonge (Toronto)
10. Massey Tower (Toronto)
This is a snapshot in time. A lot of big towers getting ready to bounce onto this list.

Click the link to see Telus Sky’s lighting feature on for what I imagine is the first time. Sorry, I’m not savvy with posting images. If someone would like to do it for me I would be grateful! Photo taken by me.

I'm curious how it will be a game changer? The design is the game changer, the lights are just a bit of added bling.

The entire facade of the building lights up and it looks amazing. Lots of developers will probably want something like this on their buildings in the future.

On top of the fact that it's really the first North American building to halve its entire facade being a light up art display. Of course other towers have LEDs on their facades, but it's usually just a strip or a relatively confined area, while this is 222 meters top to bottom in fully dynamic LEDs. The only building in North America that I can think of that really compares to this level is the CN Tower.
