Yeah, I had to put him on the ignore list a while ago, I just can't deal with the size of those pictures.

Sometimes I turn it off when I'm on a desktop, because he has good photos sometimes. They're just so big. I have to ignore him because they're such a pain to view on my phone.

^^Great photo find TCO. That pre-war cluster is just awesome. I always wished they built some of those Art Deco towers taller so that they were more pronounced on the skyline.

Given how this build sits on a small and narrow Chestnut St near the intersection of Broad St, it feels a lot bigger and taller than its actually size. One of my favorites based on the scale and its surroundings.

Thank you for alerting me to the 'ignore' function!

For anyone else wondering, simply click here, then on the edit ignore list seen at the bottom:

And enter the name of a board member you no longer want showing up. Afterwards, posts from that board member show up like this in the thread:

With that tip, it's possible to keep any thread you follow from having horizontal scrollbars even when viewed from your 4k monitor at home, to say nothing of the 1920 resolution of a work monitor.

Now I no longer have to wish that people would adopt the idea of showcasing their best work, appropriately sized so it's actually viewable, while providing a link to a photostream of originals.

Alternately, you can click a username in a thread > View Public Profile > User Lists > Add to Ignore List

It's not that people don't want to see or don't like the photos. The size of the image is too large for most web browsers. I can roast marshmallows from the heat my work computer gives off when I open a link with your pictures in them. I don't understand why you can't host the full size photos on your own site and just link a reduced size image on this site. Most of the site is text based and people come here for quick updates, city vs city arguments, and pictures of shinny buildings. Not for print quality imagery. Cite your work and we can contact you if we want a professional print.

TK, I like your updates and would never put you on ignore but the other posters have a point. This is what your pictures look like on my laptop:

+1 I also have you on ignore until you fix this issue. I love your updates, but they are too damn big. All I am saying is this: if 2-3 people give me similar advice, I usually follow it, no matter how stubborn I am.

TK, if you put your pictures on Flickr then you can post resized versions of them on here while still allowing us to access your photos in their original size. This is what I am beginning to do with my own photos, and I highly recommend you try it as well. A lot less people will put you on their ignore lists if you do this.

TallCoolOne, your photo in#3122 is just stunning. It captures vintage Philly skyline perfectly. I love how Liberty 1& 2 are so complimentary to their classic neighbors.

I am a new member in the forum, though I have been following this forum for years. I am sure you did not realize how annoying your picture sizes are to the viewers. When your post comes, I scrawl down very quickly over those huge pictures to avoid visual torture to myself. Please send smaller images like others, if you like not to be ignored.

It’s been mentioned several times before. I’ve ignored him for months now. His posts kill the threads if browsing on mobile.

Some of the photos are great, some are blown up so much that detail is lost. I often just check them when on my 27” at home.

Does anyone know if the plans are for the "W" to be lit up at night ala FMC?
