Adam Fox is going to stay at Harvard for another season, I was hoping he could help reinvigorate our defense next year!

Obviously the Oilers have had a miserable season.

My only silver lining for the season would be if #97 captures the scoring title.

My team for the playoffs.......Jets!

Really why? If my team wasn't in it this year I'd be rooting for the the Knights.

Why? Because everyone loves the Jets.

And if they don't, they should.

That they are. Anothwr reason why last nights Leaf win against Nashville was so good. Unlike what was posted that team isnt just coasting yet. They still need to clich their conference so they cant rest yet. The Jets could still move into top spot but its not likely.

I like the Knight for a team that shouldnt have done as well as they have this year.

Agree on wanting to Vegas win just for the absurdity of it all.

Watching the Jets vs. Anaheim... it's like a hockey clinic. What an awesome team!

Although John Gibson is putting on a goalie clinic so it's just 2-1 (after 2) even though the shots are 33-10.

Another OT winner by Kyle Connor. Last time the Winnipeg Jets hit 100 points was 1978, when they won the (Avco) Cup. Of course, no "loser" points in 1977-78.

Oh there are other places on the Internet where they too are starting to get noticed.

The core fans have been here and there all along, but the bandwagoners... yeah.

You wouldn't expect a team to gain new fans when it's doing well? Is that being discouraged? I've been a Jets fan since 1972 myself ... I cheered for Milt Black and Joe Zanussi and Curt Larsson just as enthusiastically as I'm cheering for Laine and Ehlers and Hellebuyck (probably more so, since it is easier to work up enthusiasm in Grade 3).

Good to hear someone is winning.

Our Ball hockey team was eliminated in the second round tonight. Tried to channel the Jets....Nope.

Don’t be jealous. You had a dream that the leafs were the best and would represent Canada and that dream was foiled.
Btw. Since I see you are from Saskatoon. Where’s your nhl team ?

And no NHL competition for the Jets back then.

True, if they'd got to play the Red Wings, Capitals, Rockies, North Stars, Penguins and Barons they would probably have had 120 points that year. A game between the 77-78 Jets and 77-78 Canadiens would have been a dream to see, though. Unfortunately it didn't happen, even in the pre-season series that the NHL did condescend to play a couple of times. The Jets had to content themselves with becoming the only club team ever to beat the Soviet national team, as occurred that same season, on 5 January 1978 to be precise.
