I still feel that if the buildings cladding and or glazing had some kind of gradient to it where it went from dark to light as it climbed up its twisted elevation, it would look truly remarkable. Though it still is wicked in its current state, a cherry on top on something impressive as this would almost blow the roof away.

Perhaps some element of such an effect could be simulated with the LED lighting. With its entire south faced having LED lights on the corner of every window block, gradient colours on occasion could look quite spectacular. Heck, they could even do moving waves of a gradient colour scheme.

I'm nor trying to be a troll here, but is it me or is the building looks very awkward from this angle?

I don't think so. I also believe it will gain more vertical aesthetic balance as it nears completion, as the rate of curvature change slows down and seems to stop near the end. There might be some getting used to as we only have limited structures that have curves, and certainly are limited in number of buildings that have changing floor plates.

The best angle IMHO is from the diagonal, where you can see it not only curving front the front facade, but also thinning out. Lots remaining to explore in terms of angles / looks and lighting!

It might look better once the glass is installed as well. At the moment it looks as if it's about to tip over.

The lighting looks amazing! Does anyone know if the lighting will be on both the north and south side? Or just the south side?

There is a lot going on in the picture, the business of it may look awkward, but I think the tower is turning out fantastic! especially with that awesome lighting.

You're not seeing the curve fully so it looks awkward.

You need a birds eye view to really see the full view of the curve right now. It'll look great when it's done.

This picture shows it well: https://www.flickr.com/photos/108346...6/34645078854/

Compare the two views and you'll see how the twist works:

Actually, the "curving" / "twisting", it is almost done. It only happens in the middle 1/3rd of the building (hence my comment previously about vertical aesthetic balance being achieved once the top 1/3rd is done). In the above render, if you focus strictly on the N-S thickness of the building from 2/3rds up all the way to the top, you'll see that it doesn't change at all.

I'd say this lighting is better than Brookfield.

I meant he's not seeing the full view as in the entire view of the twist. I know what he means cause when you look at the picture updates it looks odd that one sided is rounded off and the other is straight edge but once the start building the straight top half it'll be more obvious.
