What a game against Philly so far!
5-1 lead.
Ebs and Nuge finally snap their scoring skids.
Maroon lays down the law on Brandon Manning.
Oscar is on fire

After so many years of teams coming in here and dominating us physically it's so nice to see a team as tough as this. Not just tough, but guys like Kassian and Lucic also have the ability to flip a switch and go into beast mode and fuck somebody up. If somebody gets a couple game suspension, there is still more than enough toughness in the line up.

Even Driasitle last night taking a late shot on manning and dumping him into the boards. god that was nice.

Remember years ago where Hemsky would get pushed around by Regehr for giggles every game? That isn't going to happen with this team.

Great game and a great result after what happened to the Oilers back in Philly

Big NHL trade!
To LA: Ben Bishop and 5th-rd pick in 2017
To Tampa: Budaj, Erik Cernak, a 7th-rd pick in 2017 and a conditional 2017 pick. Tampa Bay retains 20 percent of Bishop salary/cap hit

Meanwhile, what a crazy game between the Oilers and Preds right now.
McJesus with 2 points, now has 71 pts (21 G 50 A) for the season.

Another trade, details from Bobby Mac:
https://twitter.com/TSNBobMcKenzie

ARI sends Martin Hanzal, Ryan White and 2017 4th rder to MIN.
MIN sends 2017 1st rder, 2018 2nd rder, 2019 conditional 4th rder (conditions to follow) and minor leaguer Grayson Downing to ARI.
Conditional pick: If MIN wins one playoff round this year, it becomes 3rd round pick; if MIN wins two rounds, it becomes 2nd round pick.
Also, ARI retains 50 per cent of Hanzal's salary.

Oilers lost today off a goal that honestly to me says the NHL is rigged. Oilers sell out games whether they win or lose. The NHL wants more wins in the South and they will do anything they can to help it happen.

We also received a goal that should not have happened.

Terrible call, was clearly offside, typical NHL though. It's amazing how they can get so many calls wrong. I wish Mr. Peel never officiated against us, he seems to fork us over every time.

Others in this thread seem to be conveniently ignoring this, maybe you're wrong, not saying that you are and I've got great respect for you but it does seem odd that others are mute on this.

The offside was BS given the tech and fact it was reviewed, but our one goal should not have occurred.

The one where they 'hit the crossbar', play continued and we got a penalty which lead to our goal.

Why was this goal waved off yet the Nashville one wasn't? They seem very similar yet have different outcomes.
