I'm aware... that's why I was asking if where the "Banc vent special" is actually in the middle of the sidewalk at the Clyde street location. I am hoping it was just dropped off there.

If this is the actual location (by location I mean positioning) at the Sister sites development... well, this is just plain wrong.

This just keeps getting weirder. At first I thought the wooden roof-like thing had just been unloaded there and was destined for someplace else, but now there's a second one and it's been shaped to the slope of the sidewalk:

Still struggling to get this finished. The fact there is still OSB exposed here and on the balconies as winter gets close is simply mystifying.

it looks like there is a rail on top. could it be the OSB is simply protecting the glass?

On the one hand I think it looks too busy but on the other it's nice to see a bit of colour. I think the orange balconies are a bit less successful than the red balconies on the Vic because they don't stand out as much.

I wonder how far off the Margaretta construction start is?

I heard the head of the Friends of Schmidtville saying that construction was starting on Margaretta this month.

They now have people living in the units, so I would say the OSB is a safety measure in lieu of glass. They seem to be slowly working away at getting the glass balcony panels and the flashing done.

Three things are bugging me about this building; overhead utilities are still allowed in downtown projects, there is only one bike rack out front along the commercial areas, and the parkade exhaust grate is just horrible. Down at Southport they have one out front as well but they built a raised garden bed as camouflage.

There's a lot more than that to bug someone about this thing. I am continually astounded how this, the icon of central planning under HRMxD, Andy Fillmore's opus, something that was touted as a revitalization for the area, a project that so many people at HRM oversaw, turned out so horribly, unspeakably, awfully bad. It is simply a disaster.
