Thanks Hammersklavier! I work in Lancaster city so I'll try and keep up with all the activity going on in Lancaster including the streetscrape improvements around Central Market.
Awesome! I haven't even been to some of the above cities/towns shown above. It's really great to see them. Great pics hammersklavier. Thanks!
Hah I mostly just used publicity photos from the cities' websites or photos of monuments tied to a given city (like Horseshoe Curve for Altoona, and the Reading Pagoda). I'm actually surprised myself by how many of them I have been to.

Sora West - office, hotel and retail
16 floors, 15 floors & 14 floors
Going through approval process now
Quote:
Plans for SORA include two office towers with over 500,000 square feet of office space, three parking garages that will house over 1,500 spaces and a 16-story luxury hotel. Additionally, this complex will include restaurants, retail space, and a plaza for public events.
Seven Tower Bridge is the new centerpiece of the Tower Bridge development, maintaining the tradition of the finest, downtown-
quality architecture and appointments. This fourteen-story, 260,000 square foot office tower on the banks of the Schuylkill River offers highly efficient office space on 26,000 square foot floors.
Landmark Tower - office, residential, retail
33 floors - 420 feet
Would be the tallest building in PA outside of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and the first tower over 400 FT tall outside of these tow cities.
How 'bout that! According to Strong Towns, Carlisle is the country's strongest town!
Quote:
The East Coast town of 19,000 has a long history dating back to the Revolutionary War. Some of its most famous and popular draws include: historic Dickinson College, the US Army War College, several beloved restaurants and its car shows. In each iteration of the Strongest Town contest, Carlisle stood out for its diverse and supportive community, which has helped to shape this town into a truly wonderful place to live.
Carlisle's win was by a narrow margin, with Carlisle taking 52% of the votes and Hoboken taking 48%. It’s clear that we have another very Strong Towns in Hoboken, NJ and many more who competed in earlier rounds of this contest. We encourage you to read more about these towns and their successes as inspiration for your own communities.
I mostly lurk in the Philly threads and don't post, I live in Upper Bucks on the Coopersburg-Upper Saucon borders and love the Allentown updates. There's a lot going on over in Bethlehem as well with the casino at the steel mill. And St Luke's University Hospital has several projects going also, one an office building with Lehigh University.
I appreciate the time that's being put into these two cities that are coming back to life slowly. I can't believe how Hamilton Street is jumping over the past two years with the PP&L Center open.
Today City Center Lehigh Valley announced plans to develop a 12-story Class A office building at Sixth and Hamilton streets and offer businesses of any size the opportunity to own space in it. The 145,000-square-foot building, which has been named Tower 6, is projected to open in early 2018.
Nice pictures Ex-Ithacan! One of these days I'll get around to taking a threads worth of photos of Lancaster and post them. And by the way, I'll be traveling to Ithaca this weekend. If I'm not too absent minded, I'll snap some photos.

Thanks for the compliment. If possible try to snap some in downtown and Collegetown (just up the hill from downtown). There's quite a bit of construction of new buildings going on there, at least for a town Ithaca's size.
