Gotta be related to the Beer Store and Brewers Retail.

The original source: Mtl Blog: What Each Province In Canada Googled The Most In 2015 (SignalHillHiker had posted it earlier in the entertainment/media/catch-all thread: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/show...postcount=7824)

The blog post title is very misleading. The author apparently analyzed a bunch of specifically chosen words ("So I spend hours plugging a ton of words into Google Trends and here is what each province googled more than any other.") to see how they ranked across provinces and territories... so they likely don't actually represent the "most Googled", just the most among the words he picked.

It was too hard to believe PEI residents would have looked that one up more than any other; though I haven't spent more than an afternoon there 14 years ago and don't know anyone from the province, so perhaps my incredulity could be misplaced.

no, bae is an abbreviation for "beyond anyone else," a term of love akin to babe or sweetie, that originated in the black community.
