Ah ok. My first time to Austin was three years ago and the place was absolutely booming then, so the crane thing doesn't really surprise me any more
except for the Seton/UT project which by my count has seven cranes up and absolutely dominated my view from the Doubletree Austin University Area hotel--by any standards that's a huge looking project.
But even before then, I've been aware of Austin's tremendous growth ever since the Frost Bank Tower went up, which I've always thought was a cool looking building and still do. It's fun to watch a place grow so quickly
