OK I'll get the courthouse soon - though not much has changed since my last images of it:

And there is a nice webcam on it:

I'll keep Avant Phase II in mind. Philz Coffee is moving into 8th+Hope, and they haven't even started buildout yet (very sad). Caffe Primo is moving into Avant I believe. Its unfortunate that at this stage in Downtowns life Avant is just outside of walking distance to everything except Staples Center.

Seriously, these are postcard quality. I would love to see this angle on a crisp night with a full moon and the lights bouncing off the glass. I bet it would be spectacular.

I'd like to see an update on the huge USC Village. I haven't seen any pics of its progress since they did the groundbreaking. I think that's a game changer for the area just south of DTLA. Thanks in advance, love your pics!!

I know you tend to do outdoor stuff, but I would love it if you can get inside of The Bloc and get pictures of the destruction.

Very good photographs, Hunter. I'm still wondering how you got to the top of the Watermarke tower without being busted. As far as Broadway is concerned, you are right--despicable. Why not send those shots to Huizar along with the suggestion that if the owners of those buildings do not remove the graffiti (at the very least) they will be cited. They must be treated for what they are--slumlords. There must be some way to incentivize them to make improvements to these buildings. My sense is they they won't unless forced to by the city (which we know will never happen), because they are making good money by investing nothing in their property and leasing at good rates to the "swapmeet crowd." You know type--the most greedy and crass of slumlords. The only way change will happen is when most all property changes hands to those developers who have pride in their property (and city), and make the investment to make Broadway a truly great urban street.
