I'm sure if its early enough a place like campagnolo would be okay to bring kids. Even craft (bleh) and tap and barrel (bleh) would be options in the area along with the other restaurants popping up. I get that a place like BP is more "family oriented" but I never understand why parents don't start expanding the culinary horizons of kids along with teaching them what it's like to eat in a restaurant.

Craft Beer Market and Tap and Barrel are both family friendly... to the extent that they welcome kids and families. There are a few other things coming, like Flying Pig. There's a Cobb's with a full cafe, Urban Fare express.
Would a White Spot or something else really fly there?
Commercial sites always follow the residential developments, wait for people to move in, assess the demographics.
