That reminds me of when I flew back to YYC from Orlando a few years back - Westjet - pretty much the same route as well - it didn't seem like a 5.4 Hr flight. The time went very fast. It was enjoyable.

It's on the way right now, ~8 pm arrival. Probably a good idea to minimize the taxi for them so I'm guessing they'll be offered whichever of the two runways is closer to their ramp. If that's apron II, then it's a toss up.

Just landed 35R. I wasn't able to get pictures - I panicked last minute, decided to switch viewing positions, and was driving when it landed.

Beautiful bird. People golfing at Silverwing or whatever that course is called got a huge treat.

Looks like the parking lot on Mccall near the Westjet building which is a publicly accessible spot.

Nope... at every point in the video there's at least one fence between him and the airplane. Landing shots look to be from near the Romeo bridge, and then over by the DHL lot or somewhere over there for the second part.

I too believe that all spots are publicly accessible. However my question is whether there were one or two photographers. I think it would be very tough for one person to get all shots. 2-3 people in strategic locations could easily handle the job plus one person doing as editor.

UA E75 to SFO

Not a huge big whoop... But UA is throwing a daily E75 on one of the three daily YYC-SFO rotations over the peak Xmas period from 18 Dec to 5 Jan.

A slight bump in seats per day and a bit of varie-tay!

It's interesting seeing the E75's popping up from the US carriers. However wasn't one of the concerns AC had with them the single engine performance over the rocks? This route would have some rocks too.

From a pax perspective the introduction of E75 onto SFO is a big whoop. Bigger seat on a near full size airplane. However introduction onto IAH is a big downer as its replacing 738 service.

It's strange that LOT has nothing better to do with that airplane than bring it here.
