Should be great for the neighbourhood, but I can't help but wish some of the (IMO) better looking proposals would get going: 2215 Gottingen, 2843 Gottingen, 2814 Isleville, etc.
I don't think 2215 and 2183 Gottingen have been approved yet. Aren't they waiting on some hight amendment
Normally I do not post about what I see in AllNovaScotia but they had a new rendering for this project and it looks a lot better than the one used during public consultation. The building will be 140 units, with 7 of them affordable, and be completed in mid-2016.

I don't wanna be the ultra-negative guy, but is still looks pretty clunky and tacky (IMO) and about 15 years out of date. Really over-designed, with all the clashing cladding materials, colours, design elements and a mismatch between tower and podium. The density will be great, but I'm more excited about some of the smaller infill projects to the south, simply because they look more promising, design-wise.

Agreed. I don't mind the tower so much, but the podium is hideous.
