A bit of zoom, but yes, the city is really that close to the rockies.

Damn love those last shots of Montreal and Vancouver. Calgary looks good with the Rockies.

Agree, although what many people seem to call 'New York City-esque' is really just a product of the era in which much of it was built. Every large north American city from 1880-1940 looked like that. The only difference was how large or tall the buildings were. If one built a bridge, it was very likely to be of that style above.

I don't care if we don't have supertalls. I can manage with 40-50fl. buildings.

At least, we have something that very few others don't : a huge hill with awesome vantage points.
