Comunity gardens

What are all the 4x4 garden squares for across from Roger Arena for. Is this another way for a developerto pay less tax. Now he is considered a farmer

you know the garden next to the astoria on hastings street? its the same group as that garden opening a new garden in this spot - there is already discussion on this garden in the downtown thread BTW
