MELBOURNE | Lighthouse (450 Elizabeth St) | 218m | 67L

This one lodged for approval just recently

The CBD annex rolls on and on and on and on and on. I said to on OzScrapers 10 years ago during that boom that the focus is going to shift to the CBD North and revitalise Elizabeth St which is essentially the road to both Adelaide and Sydney (Haymarket about 1.5km from the CBD is where the main Roads (Royal Pde/Sydney Road and Flemington Road) meet and converge. The absolute centre of Melbourne is the intersection of Elizabeth St and Bourke St - where the former GPO is located.

And yes in case you were wondering, Beekman Tower / 8 Spruce St is referenced throughout the planning application for 450E.

Disturbingly awkward. It might be the folds in the paper, but I think this could be so cool, but the pattern is difficult to read and seems a bit mish-mash. It might be better than I'm reading it as bits and pieces are pretty interesting. I will have to wait and see.

It's so beautiful. I like the Beekmanish-ness of it.

I think it's the balconies that break up the pattern of the ripples.

The articulation of the facade is similar to Abode 318

can a mod update the thread title? Height increase and new stats:
