on this trike video, they get much higher... and the beach stretches on and on, until disappearing on the horizon fog. The little town below is Cassino, which is a beach district of the city of Rio Grande.

most other beachs on Rio Grande do Sul look the same... but since they have one or two interrutions by rivers, streams, etc, they are not considered as just "one" beach, unlike Cassino.

Still, with exception of the Tramandaí River (at the city of Tramandaí) and the Lagoa dos Patos connection with the sea, you can probably cross the entire Rio Grande do Sul coast, over 600km, with a good jeep, all by sand, without even STEERING the car, so flat and straight the beaches are.
this is another trike flight, near Tramandaí (the city appears on the video). Notice how the beach is STILL quite straight and flat and stretching forever... this is over 300km north of Cassino...

some other trike flights near Tramandaí. As you can see, the entire Rio Grande do Sul coast looks about the same... btw, our sea is COLD and usually, brownish, specially when the sea revolted.
