I just got back from watching Children of Men....... one of the best films I've ever seen.

A superb and very believable storyline, wonderful acting, great characters and some incredibly dramatic moments. It's really quite harrowing in places. It was like a cross between 28 Days Later, Saving Private Ryan and the nativity story.

London in 2027 looked amazing with loads of hi-tech billboards and stuff, plus they showed what looked like an LBT clone in the City. The ending is brilliant and there's potential for a sequel.

I'd really, really recommend it to everyone.

Ive been following the production of "Children of Men" for months now. I posted a thread a while back on SSC but I dont think it got a reply. Its an unbelievable film. It has a British aura of reality aswell as a story warning of the truth what this world could be affected by. the Americans just cant seem to do that anymore.

lol, it's still down for me, or at least it's taking forever to load!
And best of all, for the last couple of days, I completely forgot about ssc and didn't even care to check if it was working or not, until right now when I checked ssp, this is great!

ssc is often down, when is online is slow and is almost empty all the time... i think the forum is dying.... lots of user have "abandoned" their forums

No it isn't dying.

Today it's faster than the last month together
