ate lunch in Hydro main floor overlooking site today and definitely lots people on site putting up rebar columns. I'm thinking this one will grow fast

When PCL is on the job site that means 2 things.

1. The client has the money to spend. And 2, PCL has a schedule to keep. Not like the self funded and built hotel nearby.

This one has been pretty fascinating to watch. Lots of structural-related eye candy for sure.

Watching the progress of the Bay window replacement is good to see as well. The closed sidewalks are annoying for my commute, but that's the price to pay for progress.

Was supposed to be a 2025 start. Blame Build Canada Homes. Their transition from CMHC has been a disaster.

No, they would have simply cancelled any government program that supported affordable housing projects and leave the field wide open for their developer pals to drive up the cost of housing.

I drive the Kenora to Winnipeg route regularly, and I have to resist the urge to stop and urinate on those signs every single time.
