No, not yet.

There is a new sign up on the far left of the horseman center it looks like it will be a pool store. With that and the new extension of 7 iron is the horseman center fully leased?

Recipe Unlimited indicates a franchise opportunity in Moncton for one of their chains, State & Main Kitchen and Bar

https://www.stateandmain.ca/

They currently have 36 locations in four provinces (Ontario and the Prairies).

Here is their summer menu:

A nice addition to the culinary scene if this were to transpire. Maybe the Granite Centre should look into this for their long dormant restaurant pad.

Thinking about it, State & Main would be a fabulous choice for that corner restaurant unit in the podium of the Third Sister.

I heard that Moncton Discounters is moving to the Riverview Mall. Apparently someone at Discounters told my uncle that they are running their stock low so they don’t have to move as much stuff. Interesting.

A rumour has surfaced that the former Eddie Bauer space in Champlain Place has indeed been leased.

We know that Miniso, Purdy's Chocolatier and Mind Games are coming to the mall. We know where Miniso and Purdy's are going. It would be reasonable to assume that Mind Games is taking over the Eddie Bauer space.

Would be a pretty large store for them, around 6,330sf. Looking online, it says Mind Games stores are usually around 1,000 to 3,000 square feet in size. So it's possible Mind Games is going somewhere else? They don't renovate the spaces they occupy by the looks of it, so should be a quick opening wherever they choose to call home.

perhaps

The trusted source only said that the old Eddie Bauer has been leased. No definite information on who the lessee is.

Had an interesting discussion over future moves at the mall. This will include at least a couple of new retailers, a reshuffling of a couple of other retailers, and perhaps the exit of one (low value) retailer Most of this will happen in early 2027. I am not at liberty to say what these changes entail.

Nothing truly earth shattering, but at least this helps to allay our earlier misapprehensions that Westcjiffe's management style was entirely too hands off.......

The advantage of the Eddie Bauer location is that it is close to EB Games in Champlain Place. If Mind Games wants to be near their "competition", then that is probably one of the best spots in the mall they could go, even if it is (quite a bit) larger than they may prefer.

IIRC Eddie Bauer has a deep store but a narrow face, maybe MindGames is taking the space for now and will just close off the back half, and basically let the mall know they are mobile if a different spot opens/if the mall finds a tenant who wants more space.

Granite Centre is announcing that the former "Wingin' It" space has been leased, giving this particular retail plaza 100% occupancy. They have not said who the new lessee is, I suspect another QST however.

It won't be the mall. They're moving because they can't have freezers due to giant tiger. Going to Riverview mall wouldn't solve that.

And it could be just a rumour. There's nothing on their facebook, at least yet.

It's more than a rumour. Discounters is moving to Riverview. I have a firm source, and, yes, the reason why they are not moving into Riverview Place is because of the freezer issue. I have no information however as to where precisely they are moving into in Riverview.

Thanks. I think they'll do well in Riverview.
