It's interesting, that of the 3 residential supertalls Extell is moving forward with, this seems to be the first that would get out of the ground (both 655 and 871 Madison are Non-ULURP), but the Columbus Avenue supertlall is as-of-right. Hard to say what moves first, even with financing.

The certification on this should be complete soon, and we could see filings for the full tower. Currently, its just the first few floors.

Building permit now says 75 floors, 1,100 ft. We’ll get a full final height with a diagram when the construction permit is approved.

I don't think people have fully grasped the scale of this construction boom we are about to witness over the next 5 years (and more). There's one developer alone gearing up to construct 3 (at least) supertalls to go along with the one already rising. Uptown, Downtown, eastside, westside, all across the boroughs, the thunder of the ever-changing face of New York City gears up...
