This seems like a good place to drop this pic...

My composition is off as I obscured a good part of the new tower with the boat. I note that the marina at King's Wharf is completely closed this season.

No. I took this pic a day or two prior to the tall ship's arrival. I'll be looking for it this coming weekend though.

The Tall ship was Romanian. ALONG way from home given the Black Sea adventure underway.

Thanks for the correction. The Romanian Ship was here and gone before the Foch arrived. Its kinda neat to see some of our European friends give Halifax a visit after the American 250 celebrations. We need a Tall Ship event again.

Yes, I remember watching the tall ship parade on the back lawn of the Nova Scotia Hospital (2000?). I was working at the hospital then, and there was an amazing view of the ships arriving.
