The owners of said parking lot are the same owners as the Maclean Block (Where Audreys is). In addition, there are tenants in the Maclean Block that have allocated parking stalls on said lot via their leases.

They could remove whatever is left of the road and expand the parking lot right up to the building and shoppers drug mart could take over the bookstore. That would be a nice slice of surburban heaven in the middle of downtown.

So barely open for 8 months and all the swings from the Northern lights thingee have already been removed!

Clearly not up to par and likely will be reinforced mounts.

They will be back, but yes, annoying that our new toy is already broken and an element that people clearly love.
