The lights look tacky and the building looks a bit short. But overall it's much better than what was there before.

it's a piece of shit but it's bringing a bunch of new population and foot traffic to an area that feels pretty risky to develop in.

Between the current effects of being nearby The Link, close to the downtown riverbank, and then the uncertainty of what will replace the vacant manitoba housing lot... it seems like a positive surprise that we even got the Temu Tower.

Forks and the RT line like a stone’s throw away, so baffling that it’s not considered prime real estate in these boom times

The location is fantastic. Could be a nice urban enclave. But destined for the dust bins of mediocrity and traffic.

I was just touring the area on google maps and wondering what the deal was with 166 River being built at an angle. Is there some zombie road-alignment scheme to ram Harkness through the old PJs lot diagonally?

I notice they destroyed Odeon Park for a Smith street realignment.

This. I was saying as soon as that RT Line went in, I would've expected someone to try to build on Marion Square there. They have so much unnecessary Parking lot space. Would love to see that Tim Hortons, LC and the stores on that block turned into High rises / condos with CRU's at the bottom. Ditto with all the lots on MayFair being so close to Osborne as well

Dominion Centre is probably a cash cow for whoever owns it. No need to mess with that.

Gawd... I hate Dominion Centre. That place needs a total rethink. And that parking lot is a nightmare. The Wild West of parking lots.

It's pretty bad sometimes at the McDonalds entrance. Had a guy go nutso on me there last year because he was speeding through the parking lot while I was crossing the aisleway. Apparently he ran the show there and I was impeding him. Looked methed out though.

They could easily put 2 True North Square type developments, and still have ground level parking at Dominion Centre. It's probably twice the size of Tuxedo square.

That McDonalds entrance and exit is such an accident prone lane. Especially with so many distracted drivers these days. I've seen people walking and running by that entrance and almost pancaked on the regular.

Royal Canadian Properties (parent company of Domo Gas) owns the Dominion Center among other land holdings in Winnipeg.

View of 109 Mayfair from the Assiniboine river last night.

I am curious what the floorplans for this one are like? Their poster says they're leasing, but they have no website or floorplans anywhere.

If that podium wasn't there, it wouldn't look so stubby. I still can't believe crane costs is what stopped this from being much, much taller. :'(

The should really invest in a professional photographer for their leasing photos. Using a guy with his cell phone doesn't seem to do the project any favors.
