That lobby is gonna be sick! Standing at the base of this tower looking into the lobby is going to be such a wonderful experience. It is going to overwhelm! In the best way possible.

Too true.... SICK!

I've walked pass the base several times (as it's on my way to work) and I cannot remember being in such AWE of how great this base is gonna look once finished. It may be the greatest base level presentation in NYC, just freaking incredible on the streetscape.



The only one that comes close would be the projections of how amazing 175 Park Ave's elegantly presented base would look adjacent with Grand Central Terminal's grandeur.

That was the original proposal, but the NIMBYs resisted. Hopefully they can now push through a whole shutdown.

Decided to watch the fireworks on tv instead of going Downtown, and they're saying 270 Park is being officially lit for the first time.

I don't know what that means, but it's obviously not quite true. Good to see the national exposure of this future icon though.
