convention center construction update. all new glass on the North Hall and roof to match the new West Hall is in progress...few lost spots for the convention but not much inconvenience getting around

The A's stadium looks huge, I hope that one happens along with the planned 750 footer, those'll make a huge impact on the skyline.

What's the status with the Hard Rock hotel (giant guitar)? I remember reading that was moving forward a ways back but not sure what happened.

the A's on the strip, tropicana site is not happening, no matter how much people want it or the media hypes it up, its not happening

as for Hardrock, they are actively remodeling the property, the have not started on the Guitar yet though. they have gutted the place, removed the volcano and are in process of removing the atrium if it has not been removed already, they did mention that they should have kept the property open and renovated in sections to keep revenue flowing but they are moving on regardless

Palazzo Condos - it boggles my mind that they're using a printed fabric for the construction safety curtain:

the printed curtain is an expensive canvas wrap, its just faded, it was replaced several years back. but its been that way since like maybe 2008. its the St. Regis tower that they pulled the plug on
