I hope that Citadel acquires this garbage from Rosen. It’s a waste of an ultra prime location. Also, a Madison Avenue entrance to 350 Park would be nice, together with a landscaped plaza, like JPMC will have.

Only if it's going to be used for the new building. If it's just for an empty plaza, no thanks, even if it is banal and begging to be redeveloped. Also I'd like to see the neighbor stay and be an interesting contrast with, and that would look terrible with a plaza next to it. Of course neither of these things will likely happen since apparently Citadel isn't interested in expanding the footprint.

I have no idea what kind of “makeover” this PoS could possibly get, let alone for a
paltry $200m. This vile PoS should come down.

I know this is controversial and will probably never happen, but I hate the Metlife building in the NYC skyline. It just looks awkward and I shudder to think that developers were going to tear down the Grand Central station (and overjoyed that it never happened):

And I hate One Astor Place and One Penn Plaza for their awkward placement in the skyline. But I know they will never be replaced barring unfortunate circumstances.

Speaking of Wacker Drive...

Behold the Renaissance Hotel...

___

Not only is it horrible, but it squandered what should be one of Chicago's premier parcels for a supertall. I eagerly await the day when the economics make taking down this banal turd possible.

I'd be elated with an elaborate limestone and brick, 300 foot tower by Stern.

I'd do backflips if 787 Fifth is redeveloped. It's heinous per se. Having such an execrable structure in a hyper-sybaritic site is painful. Emery Roth is NY's nemesis.

I’ll do a jig if this vile, putrid POS on 6th and 32nd ever comes down.

I walked by 40 CPS a few weeks and thought that it's unreal that this market-rate rental has not been redeveloped. I believe that it goes all the way to 58th Street, and since it's not too tall, it would be a lot easier to raze than 36 CPS. Talk about a wasted asset in a prime location.

I walked by here yesterday and thought how I’d love for Citadel to but this piece of junk and put a secondary entrance to 350 Park on Madison Avenue, together with a spectacular plaza. 477 Madison is terrible.

I find it beyond belief that the execrable 460 Park, which is basically across the street from here, is not only not getting razed, but it’s getting a government grant for “minor improvements.”

I'd really like JPMC to redevelop the whole Madison Avenue blockfront from 415 Madison to 425 Madison. It's heinous.

This trashy corner on Fifth begs for redevelopment.

I’d like to see JPMC buy Rudin’s site and these two adjacent eyesores for its campus.

Given the extraordinary success of this tower, I'd love to see Rechler redevelop the ultra-execrable 530 Fifth. It's painful to look at.

What kills me is that this PoS is still standing.
