You should have worded your post differently then, but anyways I’m sure it will be tacky.

^ Is that last one related to the glass panel that fell during SXSW? Saw something on KXAN but never looked to see where it was.

I believe all of them happened during SXSW but it's possible some were from before but I walk by often and hadn't noticed any missing previously.

I don't mean to be more critical of this specific tower than I have been, but, have any other towers in downtown suffered this problem in this time frame? Or did they go cheap on All the cladding, not just the parking podium? A very suspicious mind wonders.

there sure is some bad workmanship in places
It looks like the outer panels shattered, so maybe they were cheap and some wind/debris is to blame? It’s not like the actual panels just randomly fell out that would be even worse

Is it weird that this tower looks taller than The Republic?

Not really given that this tower's site elevation is roughly 25-30ft higher than The Republic's and their listed height difference is only 35ft.

6th and Guadalupe are still closed and there’s remnants on the street/sidewalk

The ground floor looks so uninviting. Very short; almost squished and disjointed from the banal screening of the parking floors. And the ground floor has deadening Black Glass! Plus, when those few parking floor lights that are on, are multiplied for all the parking floors...Ugly. Just Ugly!
