Wow - This is huge for the DSM skyline. I grew up in Des Moines during the 90s/00s and the only thing i remember really going up during that time when I was a kid was the EMC building. Happy to see DSM finally getting a new highrise!

I love this design. Neumann Monson does very tasteful, understated work. In keeping with Midwest Modernist traditions. Looks to be like this will be a wonderful addition to Des Moines' already-great collection of buildings.

A few recent construction photos. This tower is officially at the halfway mark currently and should be topped out by late summer of this year.

And a few from last month of how it's appearing on the skyline.

Having grown up in Des Moines, this is really cool to see. The last substantial highrise in downtown was in the late 90s, which is the EMC building you see with the slanted silver roof on the upper right.

Any DSM folks able to confirm whether or not the glazing has the variegated patchwork glass reflectivity from the renderings/concept? From the photos it appears not, but I can't be sure.
