If the developers file for bankruptcy, I suspect that all of the deposited funds will have been spent. In that case, the buyers can only file bankruptcy claims.

There must have been some kind of activity on site because these yellow forms on the west side of the site were not there previously when I was last there June 4.

But generally speaking, this is microscopic progress for one month.

Compare July 14, 2024

to June 4, 2024

Here's another comparison from the east part of the site.

It does look like some concrete was poured.

So I'm not sure if the site became active for like a day and the stopped, or it just recently became active.

I'll stop by again in the not so distant future to make a deduction.

microscopic progress

you are right, this is a microscopic progress for a couple of moths due to as I heard only 7-8 people is working at construction site.
I think the main problem of this project is financial.
home prices are dramatically falling in Florida and Miami.
real estate is not the most profitable way of investing money anymore.

Here we go! May not be flying, but that's progress.

Workers on site is better than workers not on site.

Apparently full speed ahead, notwithstanding the doommongering

Okan Tower ‘Averaging Floor Per Week Vertical Rise’
https://www.thenextmiami.com/okan-to...vertical-rise/
Okan Tower is now “averaging a floor a week vertical rise,” according to contractor Jacob Companies.

They're on the 4th floor according to the photo in the link.

4 floors. They are cranking now.

Waldorf and Okan are both on the 4th floor.

Looks like Floor 7 - being outpaced by Waldorf - but this footprint is larger.

Bonus shot of crane bump in progress.
