The more I look at this tower, the more I assume that SOM recently poached a design partner from Foster & Partners. There are too many similarities with recent Foster designs in NY and China. It's too similar even to be just a carbon copy.

MAJOR PROPOSED BRICKELL OFFICE TOWER RECEIVES FAA APPROVAL FOR HEIGHT INCREASE

Previously approved for a structural height of 754 feet in September of 2024, the new application sought an increase to 823 feet. FAA approved the request in late April 2026 documents show.
