Seems to be Blanchard's M.O. And that worked while the city was stagnating.

But his company (or 'ies') are behind the times. Unless the goal is to upsell and let someone else develop the properties they own. Which seems quite logical.

At least I learned the city does a quarterly inspection of the building to assess the growing damage - the one building beside the one they demolished is starting to lean to the east and separating from the structure now that there is no building beside it to keep it stable.

That's the real Q. He'd have to partner with someone else as well (hint hint - I may or may not have heard something like that through the grapevine)..

I hope it's true.

Because this developer is becoming a Stinson, but quieter.

This basically looks like Cobalt luxury apartment version 2.0 from across the street.

Is Hi-Rise the partner? Recycling their previous floor-plan.

Not LIUNA or Hi-Rise: https://urbantoronto.ca/database/pro...k-condos.52142

Unless Liuna is the one who may or may not be partnered with Blanchard.

Let's hope it looks less bland in a fully-illustrated render.

No way this gets built with the proposed demolition of the middle building for that "glass" entrance - that's the whole reason all this stalled to begin with was because of proposal for demolition - why they'd even PROPOSE to demolish one of them is beyond me.. just makes the whole thing look like.. well a corpse, with the building behind wearing it like a mask.. doesn't even feel like a proper building anymore.
