well, this is very popular in lorain lakeview park too, so ok
raby bay park
different houses and trees, but same boat people
a cleveland peninsula point box house
looking ne at the top of cleveland point peninsula --
mud island and moreton island in the distance
they say sometimes you can walk to mud island at low tide
looking nw over moreton bay
heading back down the peninsula
old courthouse, now a restaurant
historic schoolhouse and old rail office
1860
time to chillax ... except it was australia cup day & parties everywhere
also ibis galore
banyans are not native, but this is an old grove
first church in the area
back 'downtown' by the train station --
waiting on the train with the drunk post-australia cup party ladies
heading back to brisbane central --
homebase for awhile ...
btw it wasn't totally different from the states cleveland --
i saw the wheelchair assist was by invacare --
that's a local 'other' cle area company --
i hope you enjoyed a visit to the far flung suburbany cleveland neighborhood of brisbane -- much more downunder aussielandia to come.
let's say from which pic that you noticed the weirdness from the "original" cleveland oh you thought it supposed to be?
for me it was the second pic, i mean, i hardly believe there is a “humble” stationboard calls itself CLEVELAND if it were in cleveland oh, that's not possible based on my experience. yet i didn't notice the queenslandRail.
then i scrolled down and appreciated the little spots with all cleveland name on and wondered when final skyline to show up.
a weird skyline eventually showed up but i never knew it was brisbane(1stly rare angle 2ndly too many newly-built towers there)
next time to play with melbourne fl.

haha i thought to leave it a fun mystery — good eye!*
* if you look very closely there is a giveaway right away in the second pic of the train platform sign
I should've looked closer at that sign!
Actually, the first instance of Queensland that I saw was the picture of the picture of the lighthouse, from that Queensland historical society. But when I went back to see how soon I saw where this was, I thought the plaque was higher up.

ha you are right -- and far flung cleveland brisbane is not often visited by tourists, so yeah the view angles from the train ride route from the city would be unusual for most people, even aussies probably.
certainly not the 'other' cleveland.
and yes indeed the city itself is booming with construction and changing quickly.
also, i will be doing melbourne, but i dont have any connection to the florida melbourne, so i'll just leave the little joke at this thread.

yea I do put some look on melbourne fl though, it really has a decent mini skyline (i always thought it was just one main-street town), and it has aussie vibes too

i always thought the same, but i just googled pics and you are right. it is bigger than just a main street town — and actually it has an interesting layout. it does look to have some aussie like beachy vibes too, but i think the weather is probably more brisbane than the big melbourne though.

I've been to Melbourne Vic, and the weather and temp changes there are always mood killer, within hours, within a block, even by the sunny sides or shades of those buildings eh
Brisbane was alright, i didn't recall any mood swings while touring around, hot for sure.
