That works pretty well. PDV C is listed at 367ft, Google Earth gives me 368ft.

I will do a comparison list later, but who knows when we will see the damned thing update, the data is 7-8 years old.

Crappy pic, but they've started placing some structures on the roof top patios, like the white pergolas.

Just confirming, that the occupancy for the condo units starting from end of Aug/early Sept/2023. Closing may take place after 6 months.
No confirmation of which grocery store will be occupying on 1st floor.

I was in the area and decided to walk over for a closer look at Relevé. While I was there I chatted with some workers from the Moon site and it seems it's Metro that is expected to take the ground floor but no firm announcement yet.

...and yes, they did actually plant the trees on the 2nd and 10th floor terraces. How long they live TBD. Sidewalk and bike lane has also been redone to match the section of Albert between Bay & Bronson. Give it a few years and all that new interlock will look the same as on Kent street, fully over grown with weeds.

Real happy to hear. We need another full service grocery store Downtown. The only other is the Independent on Bank and Somerset.

Trees on the terraces will hopefully be ok. They won't be exposed to excessive road salt at least.

Exclamation

It seems there are going to be some delays in possession dates:

"Please be advised that an Unavoidable Delay has occurred with respect to the construction of the Claridge Moon due to the storm and consequent flooding in Ottawa on Thursday, August 10th, 2023, which caused damage to the ground and second floors of the Claridge Moon and has therefore resulted in a delay in receiving the occupancy permits for all units in the Claridge Moon"

Wow, really? Must have been poor installation of glass, or something. Otherwise, you'd think flooding in the parking garage would have been the issue.

Really hope the grocery store does happen at Claridge Moon. It would be a good location and right next to transit.

Hopefully we get official confirmation and a projected opening date soon. I'd definitely go there, even though I don't live downtown, but when leaving work to go home, I'd swing by to pick up stuff we needed if it is open, rather than have to stop elsewhere.

The cheapest units in the building are $512,000 for 630 square feet + $45,000 for a parking spot if you need one...and a lifetime of condo fees. I remember similar units going for $125,000 in the East Market Lofts when it first opened. I remember when I lived in the East Market Lofts soon after it opened, there were a lot of young people and retail workers buying their first homes. Now condos are for wealthy investors. How the condo market has changed...

^Not to mention the interests one would pay on a $550K loan for a 1bdr unit, especially in this environment with +6% interest rates.

I strongly considered buying a condo at the Bowery back in 2015 or so. I think it was around $170k for a bachelor, 400 or so square feet. Wonder how much those go for nowadays.

For what it's worth, I moved it with my partner in 2017, so I likely would have sold it then, and not today.

Most of the scaffolding on the Lyon side has been removed. It was quite crowded over the last year with dozens of STO passengers waiting at the bus stop. We can now walk behind the bus stop to bypass those crowds.

What in the Claridge is going on here?!? That's right next to the O-train station entrance, and on the main facade of the building!

Let's hope they build a wooden fence around the gas meters, but I'm not getting my hopes up. They will Claridge it up!

This project does NOTHING for the skyline but at street level it's actually quite nice....except for the aforementioned street-level LNG plant next to the LRT

Nice use of stone and the glazing actually looks pretty high-quality.

Best effort since Tribeca. I think Tribeca is better though.

Wow, those gas valves right out on the streetscape like that....that's pretty weird (but one can only assume they had little-to-no alternative).

At least the buildings bring more density to the downtown core, vs the surface parking lots and crumbly stand alone houses/buildings that were there before. Are they typical Claridge "Forgettables"? maybe, but still better than nothing. The more visionary designed buildings going up in the western part of the CBD will distract from them anyways...
