After a decade long wait, it looks very likely the proposed new Federal Courthouse for Nashville will be funded and begin construction soon.
It is designed by the late Micheal Graves who designed many notable, but controversial buildings around the country and world. Needless to say, the Nashville design evokes many reactions from followers of architecture and the built environment. The building will be built in the downtown district and will replace some building stock that is frankly unworthy of rehabilitation.
I will show these renderings without comment as to the design, as I would like to get
opinions from people outside of Nashville who will look at it without preconceived opinions.
