Very cool. If you haven't done it already, Paul, you should post these in the 'Found City Photos' section. Could help to change a few people's minds about their preconceived view of San Antonio.

I especially liked this one. Those Live oaks are insane.

I did but they didn't let me at first. Not until the next day was it approved. Better late than never.

Yeah, the 'Found City Photos' section requires that threads be reviewed by moderators and administrators. It's to make sure that the photo credits are included.

Nice pics. I've been to a lot of places in San Antonio over the years but apparently not in the parts of town that you captured on this thread so thanks for posting them!

Hey, cool! Thanks, Paul! Glad to see I made the list (paulisjustdandy@flickr) with the Monte Vista pics. I'll take more when I come back this summer.

That's a really nice set of Texas urbanity. It all shows a lush side of SA of which some may not be familiar.

Is...that...a GIANT MUSHROOM? What is its purpose? Is it a bus stop?

I find some of the pictures of San Antonio very peculiar, but those are the things that give a place character, and SA sure has a lot of it! =] Great Pics

WOW, those pics really show that SA is not a one trick pony with the riverwalk but a real city with character and culture

Wow, such great San Antonio shots... thanks for getting off of the Riverwalk guys!!!!

Nothing against our North Texas friends, but nothing beats the foliage in South Texas... twisting oaks, palm trees, and all sorts of jungle plant life. Best greenery ever
