Paris : 11 million inhabitants - Giant satellite view

This is a giant satellite view of Paris created by Brisavoine (the central city and the suburbs) that he assembled piece by piece from Google Satellite.
The view is 49 km (30 miles) from east to west and 35 km (22 miles) from north to south. Within this rectangle there live
between 8 and 9 of the 11 million inhabitants of Greater Paris.

Actually, there are 3 international airports for Paris, but only 2 of them are shown on the picture:
- Roissy-Charles de Gaulle: largest airport which is exclusively international.
- Orly: second airport which is both national and international (predominantly Europe/Africa).

Not shown on the picture:
- Beauvais: predominantly used by low-cost companies, on national, European and Mediterranean routes.

The two other airports shown on the picture don't host passengers:
- Le Bourget: mostly dedicated to private jets (also hosting the Paris international air shows).
- Vélizy-Villacoublay: military air force base.

Great job, but you forgot many sites and landmarks, because you concentrated mainly on central Paris. Here I re-edited your edited version and

Paris est tres enorme. C'est bien comme ca, oui? (or should I say, "ouai", they way Parisiennes say it). Je suis americain et j'aime Paris. Moi, je suis ici maintenant et je suis desolee que j'aurais partir douze jours de aujourd'hui. Deux semaines n'est pas (not enough time) pour la ville de lumiere.
