Water Features - A Photo Thread

This thread is dedicated to photos of water features, including walls, cascades, fountains, troughs, and reflecting pools. Natural bodies of water or natural-appearing ones like ponds and lakes and waterfronts and seashores are probably best left to a different thread.

It is an additive thread so feel free to post your own photos or others found on the web! It will probably be appreciated if posts clearly label what and where the water feature is.

Great thread.

I'm surprised that Miami doesn't have more fountains considering that it's always warm. Same with New Orleans and Charleston.

Few cities outside old, northern ones like NY, Philly, Boston, KC, and Chicago seem to have great old sculpted ones like one finds in Europe.

Apart from cities with old classic fountains, the cities with the most and best water features seem to be:

Las Vegas
NY
KC
Chicago
Philly
DC
Houston
Seattle
Portland
Indy
Pittsburgh
Cincy
St. Louis
Atlanta
Charlotte
Savannah
LA

Thanks for posting that, it is a unique feature that must distract the office workers in the adjacent buildings! I watched another video of it that shows other variations of the head's segmented movements.

The dog fountain is cool. I forgot about our friends next door when I compiled the list of European-style fountains, but Quebec City, which is like a bit of Europe in N America, has a gorgeous one.

Do any other cities in the US or Canada have old-fashioned, European-style fountains? I’m not aware or any.

The one in Bowling Green looks nice. Louisville has one too, but it's not downtown.

It's a great fountain but in true Charlotte style, unfortunately it's in the middle of nowhere in a dismal office park. Charlotte just can't help itself.
