That was an excellent find. So if I understand it correctly, Travis #1 may not be affected. But Travis #2 which has always been Phase #2 with a hotel, has morphed into a more significant project.

Yes. It seems that way. Plus, I don't think M2 Partners is apart of Tower I - are they?

Design is expected to be complete in April 2022 with a delivery date in 3Q2025.

They are not. Beginning to think this is a completely separate development. No mention of Tower #1 and nothing comes up for “The Travis M2 Partners”.

One of the partners' name is Marriott (Angela). I'm mot sure if she's affiliated with the hotel chain.

Yeah, I think the Travis Project will turn into just the original Phase I tower, and this will be a separate development. But they are both using the same address - 80 Red River - for now.

That's nuts! Basically the same project / program on a larger site, and therefor shorter. Even the press releases are nearly identical except for the location and statistics. It makes me wonder if the person writing / editing both of them simultaneously didn't mess up the numbers somewhere in the copy / paste process. I didn't see any reference to the restaurant being on the top roof on either project, but I will take your word for it. It would be cool!

Now just picture the 1,022 footer right behind and you have a trio of monsters. One things for sure, our tallest won't look out of place on the skyline. Just need a couple of 900 footers to really have that height variation.

I think you'll get that height variation with the 400' "plateau" buildings, coupled with the 500/600-footers, plus a few 700-footers, and then a sprinkle of 800'ers. It would be cool to have a 900-footer or two...but, not necessary to create a steady variation between heights.
