Grace City, GA

I have started a new city, it will be smaller than St Tiago. It is located in the east coast and it's called Grace City. It is probably that we will see some stuff from St Tiago, like the Millenium Corp, Cool-Cola billboards and other companies. It is between Savannah and Jacksonville. Here are the first pictures. Hope you like it.

This is where the downtown will be. Probably the layer won't be larger that this.

This is the first and tallest building of the city. The Grace Tower.

New buildings, the black one are the East Commerce (or EC) headquarters, a local corporation wich owns a supermarket and department store chain. And the small one is Aquarium, which have few but large and expensive offices for rent and is owned by a company that I will make later.

Looks good so far. Judging by the start it should have an interesting skyline.

I tried to make it less crowded than St Tiago to make a more open downtown.
Here I made some more buildings and textured the other ones, The new tall one is the Grace City Stock Exchange and the small one with green roof are the Courts of Justice.

The Stock Exchange looks very interesting: a 1930's inspired post-modernist building. Keep it up!

looks nice... good details while keeping low poly. Lets see how much can Sketchup hold before imploding

Thanks guys. Is good to see that the forum is getting more life. Trantor, Im making a big effort to make the city as simple as i can so that implosion doesn't happen!

Here I got some new pics, i made some new buildings. The tall rounded one is a record company, the glass one is the Grace City PD and the small one is a apartment building

This is the GC City Hall, located in the north of the city in front of the Dawn Park

The mix of shapes and heights is well balanced - quite tasty! The City Hall is going to be a landmark so I think it needs more detail, especially in the base.

I followed your advice Vellu and added more details to the city hall, Also made some more advances un the park wich i decided to name Dawn Park. I made two more buildings, the tall one is the White Building an office tower and also where the Explor Hotel is located. The small one is the NaPeCo (National Petrol Company) Headquarters. I also made an urban park with some sunken seats and trees with an abstract style.

I made three new buildings, the Inter Mobile HQ, the Georgia Tower and the St Fredick Goverment Offices which are covered with vegetation panels (based on the Consorsio building in Santiago) and are designed to b e eco-friendly. With these buildings the downtown district is over! now I will make new neighbourhoods

The City Hall looks better now with the entrance and the sculpture in front of it.
You're making good progress. It would interesting to see how the city looks looking from the plaza in front of the city hall.
