Yah, I've been in a couple of abandoned buildings in my time. (major 56k warning, I don't sacrifice quality)

I could run around in this all day, some hotel I'm guessing? Doesn't look that old though.
Royal Connaught hotel in Hamilton. It was closed in 2004 and has been completely abandoned for about a year. In the last 5 years, the hotel was managed horribly and hadn't had a makeover since the early '90s. The last major renovation was in the late '70s.

How do you get into places like that, just walk in the door or something?
Also, this is what that same hallway looked like when the hotel opened in the 1920's. Not much changed over 80 years.

Just a few, Milwaukee conveniently demo'd and renovated its 'world-renowned' urbex sites just before I got into the sport. I'll do lots more when I get out East, though...
I really ought to go when it isn't 17F outside and I can have the patience to take good photos.
yea but when its below freezing you find the neatest ice formations in some of these places or the light coming in is much difrent at that time of year
