Excellent pictures! Australia sure is building a lot of residential highrises, aren't they?

Superb pictures. I've been there in April and was really impressed by all the construction. I also saw a sales office for 'Soul' in Gold Coast, so I guess construction of this giant will start soon, too. Here are some of my photos:

And a different skyline shot. This time not from the beach or the water but from a town called Lower Beechmont in the Darlington Range about 20km west of Gold Coast.

The Q1 is beginning to look even prettier than the concept rendering.

So BIG and TALL !!

That last picture is great. I had no idea that a city of Gold Coast existed before joining these forums, let alone the fact that it is a relatively large city with a fantastic skyline. I guess that means I need to travel more...

Q1 dominates the Gold Coast skyline. Could have been a bad thing but it's a great building. The Circle on Cavil will balance out the skyline well.

I edited my photo a bit to show how the Gold Coast skyline will look in 2007 after the completion of Circle on Cavill and Soul. The 2 Circle on Cavill towers are dark blue, Soul is light blue.

I saw it advertised in the national press last february.
The demand for high-end apartments must be very important.

Anyone knows how this project's doing ?

While I dont care for the look of the buildings individually, as a whole they work together. The third pic from the top has been my desktop since it was posted here, and I don't think it will change anytime soon.

Terrific Pics!

A little farther north of here, Brisbane is adding some nice skyscrapers as well.
