JERSEY CITY | 2973 Kennedy Blvd | 593 FT | 51 FLOORS

This was one of the first Journal Square tower proposals. It was bold because it did not have any parking. Looks like it's getting better with each iteration. AKA 96 College St.

2017 Version

20 floors, 79 dwelling units, 18,654 square feet of office space, 6,770 square feet of retail space, and zero parking

2024 Version

35 floors, 327 apartments, 108 hotel rooms, and 38 parking spaces.

2025 Version

51 floors, 503 dwelling units, 108 hotel rooms, 39 vehicle parking spaces, and 280 bicycle parking spaces

Current
From apophenic at YIMBY: "Here’s a scoop: I’ve heard might actually get bigger, but by having its footprint grow horizontally with two additional lots. Not sure if they’d incorporate that as a second tower or by widening this tower though.

Guessing a second tower? Otherwise I don’t know why they wouldve posted these plans last month while the deal for a larger project is pending."

I'm the same poster (apophenic at NY Yimby). The tower is getting wider. Expect a site plan in coming months.

Wider's fine as long as it stats tall.

Yes, it should remain at the same height (though possibly may lose a floor or two at most)
