LK99: Credible contender for room-temperature superconductor

As of yesterday, Lawrence Berkeley National Labs has replicated the Korean experiment, confirming that LK99 is indeed a room-termperature superconductor:

Its hard to overstate the importance of this discovery. It is certainly the most significant of my lifetime, and I cant think of anything else of comparable significance since the discovery of a working transistor in 1947.

Let's see how feasible it is to mass-produce and whether it has any short/long-term environmental impacts. It's absolutely huge if it works at room temps, so many possibilities! We would be unlocking the next several technological advancements over the coming decades.
