I'm just curious what the crowd is like in here. And how it compares to the general population.

Voted 30-39. I will turn 40 in 10 days. Not sure about the purpose of this, but it was probably the last time in my life that i could select the 30-39 option !!

Thank you so much for giving me that opportunity.

It's interesting that we have so many twentysomethings. That doesn't seem to as reflected in the discussions on here. Lots of lurkers?

Late 20s and early 30s aren't really that distinguishable.

20-25, 25-30, 30-35, 35-40 etc. felt like too many poll entries to you...?

I agree that I'd be surprised if we had lots of users who are in their early 20s, but late 20s, that wouldn't be unexpected.

I'd imagine the late-20s folks would be the tail end of the forum era on the internet. Especially in a forum like this.

It's just not as popular a medium now.

Well, I picked 50, even though I'm two months away.

Just trying to get used to the concept.

My thoughts too. Reddit seems to cater more to that demographic but I find it inconvenient to use.

I use reddit, mostly to browse, but you don't get the regular conversation with the same group of people very much.

When I registered on the forum in 2012, I was in my early 20s. That was after a few years of lurking.

The age demographics are just what I expected with more thirty somethings than any other age group. I'm pretty sure you'll find that not only is the average forumer here younger than the general population but they're much more urban which accounts for why i'm an outlier here in a few ways
