NEW YORK | 24 Boerum Street | 317 FT | 27 FLOORS
Permits Filed For 24 Boerum Street In Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Quote:
Permits have been filed for a 27-story mixed-use building at 24 Boerum Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Broadway and Lorimer Street, the lot is steps away from the Broadway subway station, serviced by the G train. The Collective, a London-based co-living real estate company, is listed as the owner behind the applications. The firm opened its first New York City location at Long Island City’s Paper Factory.
The proposed 317-foot-tall development will yield 370,073 square feet, with 161,614 square feet designated for residential space, 130,445 square feet for commercial use, and 9,016 square feet for community facilities. The building will have 254 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 636 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 47-foot-long rear yard, and 180 enclosed parking spaces.
Eran Chen of ODA Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in January of this year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
