Building Collection

When I was able to get on sketchup over the summer I mainly made some individual buildings in detail as oppose to focusing on a city. I'll post some pics over the next few days of what I've made. The buildings are virtually all international styled.

Here is just a preview of one of them. This building is a concept I've been working on for 10th Avenue & West 50th Street in Midtown Manhattan. It's a strictly office building with a small public plaza. It rises at 791' and in 61 floors. I've named it 412 10th Avenue.

More to come soon.

Nice, it has a very big presence and definitely has the character of a big company.

Some threads are camoflauged !!

Looking good but could do with some more detail. Have you had time to do any more ? I miss your conservative boxes.

Hey Mo, yeah I've made quite a few actually. The problem is that I'm just too lazy to post them. However with winter break coming I'll find some time to update this thread with the other projects I've made.

Well as luck would have it my hard-drive crashed on my laptop resulting in me losing every sketch-up file I have ever created. Countless hours of cities, general projects, and many more buildings I would've like to have shown you guys all gone. Luckily though I'm hanging on to the hard-drive that contains those files, among others, in intent to have them removed and transfered onto my new hard-drive. The problem is that can cost anywhere from $500-$5000 depending on what needs to be retrieved and how large the file sizes are. No matter, it will eventually get done and I hope to show you what I currently cannot.

That's so sad to hear that all your files are gone. That happened to me once and I was so mad....for almost a month. Well I did learn a lesson that I have to do a lot of backups.

I like your first one though! Whick program did you use?

That sucks Dac! You need to get an HP soon. And maybe an external file!
