Frederickstad is a contemporary capital city in an alternate universe, where Swedish and Scandinavian colonizers settled New Zealand instead of the British. Named after the Swedish king Adolph Frederick, the city is the oldest European settlement on the North Island. In the early 20th century, the colony declares indepence and changes it's name from Nya Uppland to New Uppland, to reflect its growing connection to Australia and the commonwealth. Throughout the 20th century, it shifts rapidly towards Australian ideals. All this gives me an excuse to mix Scandinavian city planning with New Zealand/Australian.

Frederickstad is a project to be seen from a distance. I doubt it will ever be textured(where talking about 7x7 kilometers here). I'll update with more detailed information for each of the different neighbourhoods as they are completed!
Nice - good plan, looks random, but organised at the same time - like a real city. Some of your buildings look interesting. Like to see the burbs expand out further.
