Looks good. I have a feeling I'll be up there next January for the US Figure Skating Championships. Can't wait to see the city in person.

Yeah, St. Paul tends to get a bit overshadowed on sites like this, but it's definitely got character of its own. If it was out on the prairie by itself, it would get a ton more attention.

St Paul is one of those cities that really should be one of America's best. It has a great history, lots of gorgeous buildings, and a civic culture that is close to ideal. Yet, the downtown is mostly deserted and the freeways have ripped up major chunks of urban fabric. Maybe there's a renaissance for St Paul. There are plans to build thousands of condos in and around downtown. I've got my fingers crossed. Still I wish the city could take itself back to 1950 when it was indisputably glorious.
