Looks slick. Not very interesting but not offensive either. I wouldnt mind if they did something interesting with the materials to allow it to look nicer for a longer period of time.

Amazing that even during a pandemic, 300m+ tall towers are being proposed in Toronto, I like the tower as well.

If this supertall is built (a 2nd supertall "The One" is u/c to the right), the neighbourhood around Yonge/Bay/Bloor is on its own a top ten North American skyline IMO.

Multinodal skyline with heft. Perhaps one day the "financial district" (anchored by the cluster of bank towers) will be dwarfed by this second skyline, rather like how Manhattan's financial district skyline (downtown) was surpassed by Midtown.

Just as I don't like bulky skyscrapers, I also don't like very slender ones like those that have been popping up around Central Park, which this takes after. It looks good from the wide side though.

I think this "half pencil" would be a great addition/exclamation mark for this tall dense neighbourhood, as seen in the screenshot above.

Early renders suggest simple, elegant exteriors (multi-level rooftop restaurant also proposed).

Wouldn't want the ill-considered armful of pencils happening in NYC, but one in this tall neighbourhood works for me big time.

If it gets cut below the current height then I'd much rather see the site sold to another developer and get a 150m-200m Robert A.M Stern type building.

Personally I dislike this development VERY much so strictly based on the loss of the existing building at the site....a fine structure which is a rare design in this city, and one that does a spectacular job of addressing the needs of the area. I'm also just not a fan of these tiny skyscrapers.
